Trustee directors
PFS Nominees Pty Ltd (PFS) is the Trustee of the Plum Superannuation Fund and the Plum Pooled Superannuation Trust.
PFS includes four non-executive directors, one of whom is the Chairman, and four executive directors.

Geoff Webb – Chairman
Geoff has extensive experience in superannuation and the broader financial services industry.
Prior to retiring in 1999, he was Managing Director, International, AXA Asia Pacific (formerly National Mutual). His executive career at AXA Asia Pacific covered many elements of the business including managing the group’s international division, strategy, operations and distribution areas.
Geoff is Chairman of MLC Nominees Pty Ltd, National Australia Bank Superannuation Fund Pty Ltd and NULIS Nominees (Australia) Limited.
He holds a Bachelor of Economic (Honours) is an Associate of the Institute of Actuaries (Australia and the UK) and is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Management and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. |

Nicole Smith – Non-executive Director
Nicole has more than 14 years' experience in financial services.
Nicole's career has seen her specialise in superannuation where she has had extensive experience in superannuation administration, accounting and taxation matters and superannuation laws and regulations.
In more recent years, Nicole has focused on the governance, risk and compliance frameworks needed by trustees and superannuation providers to ensure quality compliant outcomes.
In addition to her role as non-executive Director of PFS, Nicole chairs the PFS Nominees Investment Committee and is a non-executive director of MLC Nominees Pty Ltd and NULIS Nominees (Australia) Limited. Nicole is also a director of the Teachers Federation Health Fund.
Nicole has a Bachelor of Financial Administration from the University of New England, is a qualified chartered accountant and member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. |

Patrick Burroughs – Non-executive Director
Patrick's career in the financial services industry spans more than 30 years. He has had an extensive career as a Senior Partner and Advisor with KPMG during which he headed KPMG Melbourne's financial services practice and specialised in risk management, audit, financial management and prudential supervision.
Patrick joined PFS as a non-executive Director in November 2003. He is also currently a non-executive Director of the Royal Childrens' Hospital Melbourne, State Trustees Limited, MLC Nominees Pty Ltd, NULIS Nominees (Australia) Limited and the Skin and Cancer Foundation (Vic) Inc.
Patrick is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, the Australian Institute of Company Directors and of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. He holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours).

Peggy Haines – Non-executive Director
Peggy is a senior superannuation and financial services lawyer and has recently joined Lander & Rogers as a consultant. She was previously a partner at Freehills for several years. She is a member of the ‘Stronger Super Peak Consultative Group’ and was a consultant to the Commonwealth Treasury on the Super System Review, known as the ‘Cooper Review’.
She has significant credentials in superannuation, the law, business and the community. Peggy is a former Chair of the Law Council of Australia Superannuation Committee, a member of the International Pension and Employee Benefits Association, an Ambassador for Opportunity International Australia and a Director of Richmond Football Club Limited and the Tigers in the Community Foundation.

Richard Louis Morath – Director
Richard has more than 40 years' experience in funds management, life insurance, banking and financial planning, gained from a career which began with MLC.
Richard is Chairman of Plum Financial Services and a Director PFS Nominees, the Plum Trustee, and MLC Nominees, Trustee of MLC's superannuation business, and NULIS Nominees (Australia) Limited.
He is also Chairman of National Australia Trustees and is a Director of JANA Investment Advisors Limited.
Richard is also a Director of BNZ Life and of the ASX listed Platinum Capital Limited and is Chair of that company’s audit committee.
Richard also several other board positions with organisations under the National Australia Group of companies including Chair of the Advice & Licences Board and all Financial Planning companies in the NAB Group in Australia and of the Compliance Committee for all NAB Group dealerships. He is also a Chair of NAB Health Advisory Council, the advisory board to the NAB Health business, which is part of the Business Bank.
During his career in financial services, Richard held senior and leadership roles with the Commercial Banking Company of Sydney and State Bank of NSW. He was Managing Director of Australian Bank in the 1980s and was CEO of MLC’s retail and corporate fund’ businesses in the 1990s.
Before retiring in December 2001, Richard worked with Lend Lease Corporation as Group Executive and was responsible for relations with media, analysts, shareholders and government. He was also the Chairman of Medfin Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of MLC that provides financial services to the medical and dental market from 1996 – 2009.
Dick has a Bachelor of Arts Degree, is a fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in London and Australia and is an associate of the Securities Institute of Australia. |

Mike Fitzsimons – Director
Mike has nearly 40 years' experience in financial services with a focus on superannuation.
Originally from an accounting background, Mike has held senior management positions in consulting, sales, investments and administration at Capita Group (acquired by MLC in 1990), Lend Lease Investment Services and MLC.
Mike was one of Plum Financial Services' first employees. He joined in 1998 from Lend Lease Investment Services to manage Plum's sales, marketing and client relationship management team. In 2003, Mike moved to a Business and Market Development role with the National Australia Group and was then appointed Managing Director of Plum Financial Services in 2004. Mike is currently the General Manager of Masterkey Custom - MLC and is a Director of MLC Nominees and NULIS Nominees (Australia) Limited.
Mike holds a Diploma of Financial Services and is a Certified Insurance Professional of the Australia and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance.

Michael Clancy - Director
Michael is the Executive General Manager, Investment Platforms, of MLC & NAB Wealth. He responsible for leading the investment platforms business including MLC MasterKey, MLC MasterKey Custom, MLC MasterKey Business Super, Plum Financial Services and JANA Investment Advisers.
Prior to this, Michael was the General Manager of MLC's Investment Management Division for five years.
Michael joined MLC's Investment Management Division in 1998 and has held various investment roles in Australia and the UK for the MLC Group. He is a Director of MLC Nominees and NULIS Nominees (Australia) Limited.
Prior to joining MLC, Michael spent eight years with Frank Russell Company in Australia in both its asset consulting and manager research teams.

John Reid – Director
John is General Manager of Business Efficiency and Architecture with MLC and NAB Wealth. In this role he manages MLC and NAB Wealth’s performance, planning and business architecture.
John joined the NAB Group 10 years ago and has held a number of executive roles including managing the mature products and entity restructuring, integrating risk management for the Australian region and project direction. He was formerly Chief Executive and Director of Your Prosperity, part of MLC.
John's career started in the UK with Eagle Star where he gained extensive experience in life insurance, administrative systems and product development with Eagle Star in England, Hong Kong, the Isle of Man and Ireland before transferring to Australia Eagle in 1986.
As well as this role with PFS Nominees, John is a director of MLC's Superannuation Trustees and NULIS Nominees (Australia) Limited and is chairman of National Online Trading (soon to become WealthHub Securities Limited).
He holds a Bachelor of Science (Mathematics and Physics) and qualified as an actuary.
