Administrator directors
Plum Financial Services Limited (Plum) administers the Plum Superannuation Fund as well as a number of other superannuation funds with external trustees.
The directors of Plum include one non-executive director and four executive directors including the Managing Director of Plum, Scott Hartley.

Jeremy Duffield – Non-executive Director
Jeremy has more than 30 years’ experience in funds management and investments, primarily with the Vanguard Group where he played a key role in building Vanguard Australia which now manages more than over $80 billion and the Vanguard businesses in Singapore and Japan. He retired as a Senior Executive with Vanguard Investments in December 2010.
Jeremy has been a director of Plum Financial Services since the creation of Plum as a joint venture between MLC and Vanguard in 1998. Vanguard sold its interest in Plum in 2003 but continues to support Plum in an alliance.
Jeremy is Chairman of the Australian Centre for Financial Studies and a member of the Australian Financial Centre Task Force. He previously served as Deputy Chairman of the Investment and Financial Services Association Limited (IFSA, since renamed as the Financial Services Council), and on the Federal Government’s Financial Sector Advisory Council (FSAC) and the Advisory Board of the Financial Literacy Foundation.
Jeremy joined The Vanguard Group in the United States in 1980 as Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer, John C. Bogle, after working in Economic Research for the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, Virginia. He then served Vanguard as Senior Vice President of Planning and Development for Vanguard until moving back to Australia to found Vanguard Investments Australia in 1996. He also headed the Asia Pacific Region for Vanguard and later oversaw its international planning and development function.

Scott Hartley – Director
Scott has extensive experience in the corporate and institutional market. Prior to his appointment as Plum Managing Director in March 2009, Scott was General Manager of Strategy and Marketing for MLC from 2005.
Prior to 2005 Scott was General Manager of Institutional Business, within MLC’s Corporate Solutions business, responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of MLC's wholesale investment and advisory businesses, including MLC Implemented Consulting and JANA Investment Advisers. He has also been a Director on the JANA Board since 2003.
In 2003 Scott managed MLC's acquisition and integration of Plum Financial Services, leading a successful change management program.
In addition to his role as Plum Managing Director, Scott is also responsible for MLC & NAB Wealth's corporate and institutional client relationships through industry leading businesses JANA Investment Advisers and MasterKey Business Super.

Richard Louis Morath – Director
Richard has more than 40 years' experience in funds management, life insurance, banking and financial planning, gained from a career which began with MLC.
Richard is Chairman of Plum Financial Services and a Director PFS Nominees, the Plum Trustee, and MLC Nominees, Trustee of MLC's superannuation business, and NULIS Nominees (Australia) Limited.
He is also Chairman of National Australia Trustees and is a Director of JANA Investment Advisors Limited.
Richard is also a Director of BNZ Life and of the ASX listed Platinum Capital Limited and is Chair of that company’s audit committee.
Richard also several other board positions with organisations under the National Australia Group of companies including Chair of the Advice & Licences Board and all Financial Planning companies in the NAB Group in Australia and of the Compliance Committee for all NAB Group dealerships. He is also a Chair of NAB Health Advisory Council, the advisory board to the NAB Health business, which is part of the Business Bank.
During his career in financial services, Richard held senior and leadership roles with the Commercial Banking Company of Sydney and State Bank of NSW. He was Managing Director of Australian Bank in the 1980s and was CEO of MLC’s retail and corporate fund’ businesses in the 1990s.
Before retiring in December 2001, Richard worked with Lend Lease Corporation as Group Executive and was responsible for relations with media, analysts, shareholders and government. He was also the Chairman of Medfin Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of MLC that provides financial services to the medical and dental market from 1996 – 2009.
Dick has a Bachelor of Arts Degree, is a fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in London and Australia and is an associate of the Securities Institute of Australia.

Manda Vulic - Director
Manda is Chief Risk Officer for MLC and was appointed to that role in March 2009. She is responsible for the design and implementation of risk management and compliance frameworks for the business.
Prior to this Manda was General Manager, Risk and Governance for MLC. This followed her role as Head of Product – Corporate Superannuation for MLC Platforms where she was responsible for developing and managing MLC’s product offering to the corporate superannuation market, as well as MLC's overall Platform Strategy.
Manda has been with MLC since 1998 and has extensive experience in risk and compliance. Manda has held a variety of roles at MLC including Head of Governance, Chief Operating Officer of MLC Nominees, and MLC Legal Counsel.
Manda is Executive Director on the MLC Nominees (superannuation trustee) board, a member of the Trustee Membee Committee and a member of the Prospectus Committee.
Manda has Bachelor degrees in Commerce (Finance) and Law and an MBA from UNSW.

David Gall - Director
David is Executive General Manager, Core Banking Business Transformation and Integration, NextGen, with the National Australia Bank Group. This is a secondment away from his role as Executive General Manager, Corporate Banking and Specialised Businesses.
David's career has included 19 years with the St George Group in a range of senior roles including Group Executive Retail Business, Group Executive Strategy and General Manager Corporate and Business Bank.
He holds a Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Business and Masters of Business Administration (Exec). David is a board member of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and FINSIA Education and is a senior fellow of FINSIA.
